Class Y felonies are the most serious classification of crime in Arkansas not punishable by death. Information from the Arkansas State Police indicates Jones is from the Rea Valley community. According to the probable cause affidavit, Jones’ arrest comes after reports from the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division indicating an 11-year-old female was interviewed earlier this month.
