NORWEGIAN AMERICAN LATEST SAFETY NET TO GET A NEW NAME: Norwegian American Hospital is the latest Chicago safety net to adopt a new name as the hospital industry evolves beyond inpatient care. The 200-bed hospital will be renamed Humboldt Park Health to better reflect the majority Puerto Rican and Mexican community it serves and will focus on building relationships beyond the hospital walls.
The rebranding effort follows last month’s renaming of safety net Sinai Health System to Sinai Chicago, which has launched a $40 million outpatient center across the street from Mount Sinai Hospital.
