Stoneham Town Election Results 2021: Polls Close

(Patch graphic) STONEHAM, MA Stoneham voters headed to the polls Tuesday to cast a ballot in the 2021 Town Election. There were contested races for Select Board, Constable and one- and three-year seats on the School Committee. The polls closed at 8 p.m. Voters also had the option to cast a ballot by mail thanks to expanded rules that allowed any person taking precautions related to COVID-19 to qualify for absentee voting by reason of physical disability. Raymie Glass Parker was re-elected to the Select Board, receiving the most votes of the three candidates. Challenger David Pignone Jr. edged out Robert Lawler by 11 votes, landing the second three-year seat.

Polls in Massachusetts are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. In-person voting is done in the the Town Hall auditorium, 35 Central St. You can also use the Secretary of State s website to find your polling place.
