Independent TD for Wexford, Verona Murphy, has called on the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Marine to provide emergency funding for what is described as urgent remedial works at Duncannon Harbour.
It was a nerve-racking and long bank holiday weekend for the members of a Co Wexford Lotto syndicate as they had to wait until Tuesday to confirm they had won a whopping €1,000,050, having bought the raffle winning ticket at Wallace’s Costcutters in Wellingtonbridge.
The celebrations are continuing for Co Wexford woman Matilda (Tilly) Murray whose active lifestyle and jolly spirit are an inspiration to family, neighbours and people near and far.
