You see the heavy rain and the wind battering those trees there. Right now, irma is weakening over florida as we heard a few minutes ago. A little over an hour ago it was downgraded to a hurricane 1. Heres what more than three million homes and businesses without power across florida. Miami National Airport closed today and will begin only limited flights tomorrow. And this morning, crews in the florida keys will begin going house to house to look for people who need help. Heres a look at some of the damage theyll be dealing with in the keys. You see debris including furniture, even a refrigerator there along the main road in and out of the island chain. The items appear to have been washed away from homes by the surge that hit the area yesterday. Nbcs katy zachry has all the overnight developments with irma.
