CHEYENNE — Instead of sending Texas a $2 million check, the House of Representatives on Wednesday shifted focus to reimbursement of local communities for border security.
The House Appropriations Committee voted Tuesday to strip 75% of proposed funding from the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline’s trust fund. That left $10 million.
