NORFOLK, Neb. – A writer from Omaha will be featured during the next Visiting Writers Series event of the spring semester at Northeast Community College.
Dave Mainelli will read from his work during a virtual presentation on Wed., April 21, at 4 p.m. His presentation may be viewed through Zoom at northeast.zoom.us/j/5864654319.   
Mainelli’s first book of short stories 
How To Be Lonely (Wayne State Press) tests the limits of the human condition and Albert Camus’ “serious problem” on whether life is worth living. His writing often delves into the American lower middle class and those living just below the veil of the American dream.
