Geneva Rock truck driver killed in accident

LEHI, Utah — A dump truck driver was pronounced dead Tuesday after an accident at the Geneva Rock excavation site at Point of the Mountain.
Around 1:15 p.m., the driver was backing up a heavy-duty dump truck when the dirt underneath it gave way. The truck fell down the embankment and landed on its roof, killing the driver, according to Lehi Police.
The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Jared Payne of West Jordan.
In a
Facebook post, the Copper Hills Youth Football league offered their condolences to the family of Payne. ....
