A TOTAL of 57 lawmakers, including 53 Mindanawon members of the House of Representatives, rejected the proposal of former President Rodrigo Duterte to separate Mindanao from the Republic of the Philippines.

These projects may be realized under the plan of Davao del Norte Second District Rep. Alan R. Dujali, DPPF Corrections Head Chief Supt. Julie May C. Taguiam said on Thursday, April 8.
Taguiam said in a meeting last Monday, April 5, Congressman Dujali “informed the officers of his plan to build a P3-million infirmary project for CIW (Correctional Institute for Women)-Mindanao possibly next year and the plan for a Housing Project for DPPF officers and personnel.”
DPPF, then the Davao Penal Colony, has a land area of 30,000 hectares with a prison reservation of 8,000 hectares. It is under the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).
