Was born July 20, 1929 in Starbuck, MN to Clarence and Harriet Benson. She was the eldest of four children. Raised on the farm where she attended school at District 32. Gladys married Norman Feigum on October 31, 1950. Residing first in Starbuck then Moorhead, Minneapolis and settling in Nelson in 1963. They welcomed three children; Kathleen, Timothy and Sharon. Gladys enjoyed homemaking including baking bread, gardening, embroidering dish towels for gifting and later she and Norman made children’s furniture together. She always looked forward to Wednesday morning coffee and cookies with friends. As the family grew, thirteen grandchildren were added as well as eight great grandchildren, she loved them all. The last year Gladys lived at Alex Assisted Living where she enjoyed her room, neighbors and activities there. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman and brother DelRoy.
