Tuaran: The Sabah Cancer Volunteer Association (PSKS) is encouraged to continue intensifying awareness programmes related to cancer so that more people are aware of the disease in the State.
TAWAU: The State Government has allocated RM4.2 million to the Sabah Women’s Affairs Department (Jhewa) in the 2023 State Budget to implement various women’s development projects and programmes in Sabah.
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah will develop two new industrial parks to stimulate economic growth and industries in line with the current state government’s investor-friendly approach.
Kota Kinabalu: Mutiara GRS will intensify and diversify its programmes at the grassroots level to benefit the people, said its President and wife of the Chief Minister Datin Seri Datuk Juliah Salag.
“As wives of State elected representatives, we must play our role in helping the people in our respective constituency, especially the women folk.”
She said in her adjournment speech during Mutiara GRS’ Special Second Annual General Meeting at Rumah Mutiara GRS here, last Saturday.
Congratulating the newly-elected committee members of the welfare association of wives of State assemblymen for the 2023-2025 term, Juliah urged all members to muster efforts in implementing more charity programmes for the people.
“I believe programmes that empower women in the rural areas can be done through various skill-orientated programmes for women and housewives.
