Young BELLEVILLE A woman claims water leakage and mold build up in her rental apartment caused injuries to her and her children. Ladonna Lawrence, individually and as mother of and next of friend of Darron Hill, Jr., and Micah Douglas, Jr., minors, filed a complaint Feb. 8 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Jenny and Skeet Huskey, Kunkel Wittenauer Group LLC, Weatherwood Condominium Association, McMath Construction Company LLC and Rainbow International, alleging negligence, premises liability and breach of contract. According to the complaint, Lawrence rented a property on Ponderosa Avenue in O Fallon from the Huskeys. While she was there, McMath Construction was hired to perform mold remediation work on the apartment complex. Lawrence claims the defendants negligently failed to rectify the mold issue in her apartment and exposed her and her children to mold. ....
