SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. The South Lake Tahoe City Council recognized June as Pride Month and voted to paint a sidewalk with pride colors in recognition of the LGBTQ+ community on Tuesday.
Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe (SISLT) hosted a luncheon on March 2 to honor ten high school seniors from South Tahoe High School and George Whittell High School. The recipients of the "Young Women of Distinction" award were recognized for their exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and community service.
