47th Annual Houston Museum Antiques Show And Sale Will Be Feb. 26-28 Monday, February 15, 2021 The 47th Annual Houston Museum Antiques Show & Sale is set for Feb. 26, 27 and 28 at Stratton Hall. There will be some noticeable changes due to the pandemic, said officials. “We are thrilled to present our 47th, uninterrupted show for our friends here in town and around the region, said Amy Autenreith, executive director for the Houston Museum. This year’s show has not been without its challenges, but we are determined to make it special and safe for all who can attend.” Clements Auctions will be holding an Appraisal Fair during the Antiques show. Appraisals will be held on Friday and Saturday and guests can register for a time slot between 12-5 p.m. Pre-registration for this event is required. The price for appraisals is $25 per object, $70 for up to three objects. Payment will be accepted on the day of the event. Cash, cards, and checks are accepted. ....

(WAFF) - If you are interested in learning a little bit more about history, the Albertville Museum is now open in a new location! The Albertville Museum is now in the heart of downtown. The museum has been part of the community for 7 years. It was previously located on Highway 205. Museum Chairman Danny Maltbie says many people didn’t know about the museum. “We actually had people in town you would mention the museum and they would say we didn’t know we had a museum. There was not a lot of traffic as far as drop in traffic,” Maltbie said. ....
