A LARGE pile of rubbish was found blocking a road in Wythall earlier today - as residents are being urged to help a crackdown on flytipping. The heap of rubbish was discovered by PC Danny Fulford on Houndsfield Lane, near to the ford, this morning (April 1). He reported the rubbish to Worcestershire County Council Highways & Travel before urging those who have seen suspicious vehicles to report them. This follows a public appeal by Bromsgrove District Council leader councillor Karen May to report any suspicious behaviour. The council have pledged they will remove flytipping when reported but are keen to clamp down on the issue and help prosecute offenders.
