서울사회복지공익법센터, ′미성년자 빚대물림 방지′ 민법 개정 토론회 개최

[이미디어= 이지윤 기자]서울시복지재단 서울사회복지공익법센터(이하 공익법센터)는 30일 오후 2시부터 송기헌·최기상 국회의원실과 공동으로 “미성년자 빚대물림 방지를 위한 민법 개정 필요성과 개정방향” 주제의 토론회를 비대면 온라인 생중계 방식으로 진행한다.

미성년자의 경우 스스로 한정승인이나 상속포기를 할 수 없는 상태에서 본인의 귀책사유가 전혀 없음에도 불구하고 부모의 빚을 그대로 대물림 받을 수 있는 현실에 대한 비판이 계속 제기되었다.
그러던 중 2020년 대법원은 “현행 민법의 해석으로는 일단 미성년 상속인이 미성년 상태에서 부모의 빚을 대물림 받으면 나중에 성인이 ....
