Danish Red Cross donates over 1.32m face masks to Belarus
MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) - The Danish Red Cross has donated over 1.32 million face masks to the Belarusian Red Cross for use by their staff, volunteers and aid recipients, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Red Cross.
The spread of COVID-19 has been a major challenge to the entire international community. It has shown how important mutual assistance is in dealing with humanitarian crises. Since the first wave of the pandemic, the Belarusian Red Cross has identified the main areas of work and started collecting aid. International partners responded too. A new batch of humanitarian assistance has arrived recently from the Danish Red Cross. ....
