The owner of downtown boutique hotel Holston House announced Tuesday it has tapped Shannon Foster as area vice president and general manager and has promoted Daniel Wride to chef de cuisine.
The changes comes at the 191-room hotel approaches its fourth anniversary of operations at 118 Seventh Ave. N.
According to a release from HRI Properties of New Orleans, Foster (pictured) is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s planning, day-to-day operations, guest relations, marketing and business development. She also supports HRI’s Hyatt Unbound Collection hotels in New Orleans and St. Louis.
Foster brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience. Previously, she served as the corporate director of operations for Davidson Hospitality Group. She also served in senior leadership positions with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Fairmont Hotels, Sage Hospitality Group and Noelle Nashville. ....
