(WGRZ/WHEC) A Western New York man charged with taking part in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol Building was released from custody Wednesday. Daniel Warmus of Alden was arrested on Tuesday and charged with violent and unlawful entry, disrupting government business and disorderly conduct. The Federal Bureau of Investigation told our Buffalo affiliate that it began investigating Warmus after a tipster overheard him talking about the riot during a dentist appointment. According to the criminal complaint, he bragged about smoking pot inside the Capitol and refusing a police officer’s warning to leave. ....
