able to help others through organ donation. in just about 2 1/2 hours, the high school sophomore accused of shooting five fellow students, three of whom have now died, is due to appear in juvenile court. the state s attorney general says that it is likely that 17-year-old tj lane will be tried as an adult. people who knew him said that lane was a guarded boy, from a troubled family. for more on that and the victims and the fallout from yesterday s terrible attack, i want to bring in my colleague, ted rowlands, who is live from chardon. this young boy is in a lot of trouble, likely adult trouble. and now with a third death in this case, i m hearing that the sheriff is saying, we re moving to another phase. what exactly does the sheriff mean by that? well, clearly, we re talking about a triple homicide and this is a premeditated homicide, actually, and to say that he s in a lot of trouble is an understatement. and yes, he is a juvenile at this point, but we have seen in ....

Now. reporter: good afternoon, megyn. five students shot, two of them being treated here at hillcrest hospital. sadly enough, one student has passed away this morning. we are just finding out he has now been identified as daniel parmentor. his family has released a statement which reads in part: we are shocked by this senseless tragedy. around 7:30 this morning when school was just getting ready to start, a gunman walked inside of chardon high school, that s about 30 minutes east of cleveland. the shoot occurred in shootings occurred in multiple locations, but at least one of the shots had been fired in the cafeteria. because the shots were fired in multiple slow cases, it suggests the shooter may have had specific targets in mind. as for the shooter, his name, age is not being released, all we can really tell you at this point is that he is a student, he was apprehended a short time later. we re told that a teacher ....

The street from where the shooting happened, there s candle light vigil that will happen. we heard from family members that the killed student is being identified as daniel parmentor. we heard some tweets and stuff out there in social media that might have given notice that this could happen. in those photos it s not confirmed but it could be the alleged shooter in those photos holding up a picture of a couple of guns, another sign within that. we don t know who saw those. we don t know how they were distributed. we don t know the basis behind that. here is some positive things that did go right. we do know from the superintendent that this school did practice disaster drills ....
