So they said, we dont want to lose face. What we will do is if you will play the allstar game, at the end of the year, we will recognize the union. So they vote 119 to play. And we played the allstar game. So at the end of the year we went in to talk to the commissioner. He said, i recognize the players association. But we do not have anything to talk about. We have been in business nine years now, started in 2004. Primarily we use of heidelberg wind mill which is of letterpress found in most commercial print shops. They use it for die cutting and oil stamping, scoring but we use it for a printing. Not that many people in modern time use heidelbergs for printing because they are slower. A lot of print shops use these 40 ft. Long, six, our presses which sent tens of thousands of prints an hour. This is more meticulous doing Artistic Printing but it is the heart of our business. When you find something made with so much attention it just has more presence like if you are sending a card to someone that hasnt been massproduced but handled by an individual i would hope that it would have more meaning to the person on the receiving end, that it is made with love. But you really do see a direct line between pedestrianism and modern professional sports. And most of the pedestrians tried to switch to bicycles but they werent very good at it. But two of the pedestrians, Edward Westin and Daniel Oleary they continued to stage walking expeditions well into their 80s. Westin walked from new york to San Francisco in about 1907 and again sold one of these pamphlets along the way. He did a walk from new york to minneapolis and sold a pamphlet and the sponsor was the packard car company. Westin did not like cars just because he thought they made people walk less. Iconically, westin, in 1927 was crossing a street in manhattan and was hit by a car. And was left crippled and never walked again and died two years later at the age of 90. Us and thate becomes important in y being a man, because if i have t charity in my soul or the wisdom to recognize goodness in people, then im a man, a man of god, ay man of trying to do the right thing. Therefore, nothing you can do or say to me will change my attitude about my manhood.
