He says the information in question was on the Police Chiefs private computer, and somehow it got to the shared drive. The City Attorney says mayor Daniel Leinen investigated the allegations, and determined that disciplinary action was appropriate. He then administered that discipline in accordance with city policy. Wanatee served more than 20years in prison for the murder of a man outside of a sioux city bar in 1990 in 2014, wanatee was wanted by the u. S. Marshal service for violating his parole for a 2nddegree murder conviction. Then in october of last year, wantatee was charard with assualt whilele dilaying a dangerous wpon. Finding homes for his 18 dogs. Twelve of the dogs are now at the shelter. The Humane Society says the man took very good care of and loved all his dogs. These were dogs that he rescued. These were stray dogs, abandoned dogs, or dogs that nobody wanted,said kelly erie, assistant shelter manager.
