City inspectors bring the cases before either Danielle Farr Ewing, clerk for the Shreveport City Council, or Shanerika Flemings, chief of staff for the City of Shreveport, who serve as the court’s hearing officers. Three of the four inoperable vehicle cases were dismissed as the issues were abated, meaning the inoperable vehicles were towed by the owners. The other inoperable vehicle case, however, resulted in a $75 fine and a $200 administration fee.
