The parade began at Kennett High School and proceed up South Union Street to East Cypress Street, up South Broad Street, then west on State Street to North Union Street and concluding at Union Hill Cemetery, where the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5467, led by Joe Zenisek, held a memorial service with a 21-gun salute and a wreath-laying ceremony.
