books that reflect the children of american. we are looking to hit librarians, book sellers, publishers, editors, we want to create more diversity so that ever child can see themselves in the stories. . they are very much clamoring for more and more help so we try to get the funding. as the author of 21 books several awards, are you part of this program? i am not a part of the organization officially but i am all about creating an industry that values the fact that books are mirrors that we can see ourselves and to see outside of ourselves to really understand right community means. you are young adults author and when you visit students what do you hear? i hear children are much more advanced than we are as adults and kids get it and understand they are of value and worthy to each other and not because of labels or you look like this. they are human and they get it avicenna year-old she and her friends that they live and breed and laugh in we as adults are respon
one more question, please. everything i read about lynn or saw on twitter it seems like the pace is non-stop. in one part of the book someone asked him are you ever going to slow down you write like you are running out of time and he said i am. do you share that same work ethic or was it hard to keep up with his pace as you were working with someone who literally never stops? we do kind of share the same work ethic. we didn t have choice. we had a deadline they set and had to keep turning out words as fast as we could. but you know, he is a very special man. the speed of his brain. it comes out when he was free flowing. he is funny and comes up with things moving. you have to be on your toes but he is a friend and that is one of the things i love about the guy. it never stops. thank god because if it did maybe we would not have hamilton. i have to say everything jeremy just said about lin i would say about jeremy. really, he is remarkable and i am so honored to know him
