⚾️: De Sedas's Walk-Off Double Leads Noles Past USF

TALLAHASSEE, Florida – Down to its final out in the bottom of the 13th inning, second baseman Nander De Sedas plated two runs on a double to lead FSU (7-1) to a 7-6 victory over USF (3-6) Wednesday night at Dick Howser Stadium. The Seminoles led for most of the game, taking a 2-0 lead just three pitches into the game, on a Jaime Ferrer single and James Tibbs III’s second home run of the season. The Noles tacked on a third run against Nolan Hudi when Cade Bush blooped a two-out double to score Jordan Carrion. Freshman Jamie Arnold struck out four batters and did not allow a hit in 3.0 innings. He stranded a runner in the first two innings and FSU turned its first of two double plays to end the third inning. The Bulls got two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning against David Barrett, but Brennen Oxford struck out Bobby Boser looking to strand a runner and maintain the 3-2 lead. After USF tied the game in the sixth inning, De Sedas singled and scored Treyton Rank to again
