Since the fire the west Chester Community has rallied around the displaced seniors and staff a many residents lost everything they had. Yesterday at the Goodwill Fire Company so many donations of clothes walkers toiletries you name it all came in. Within a few hours they had to turn donors away. Today we spoke to some of the families of seniors. How is he holding up. Hes in the hospital, hes got smoke inhalation but his breathing is getting better. Reporter he came in donations for his father in law. He says the worker from barclay friends had a bag already sorted out for him. Have a walker which is almost of exactly like the one he had so that will help him a lot. Reporter he like so many today want to thank this community for all of the help. Hundreds of First Responders risking their lives to save others. 133 Senior Citizens were saved. Four were not. Based on the speed of this fire, and based on the condition of the residents, we would have expected to lose 40 to 50 people in fire like this.
