Wolfe Investments, a private equity real estate investment firm, has purchased the historic U.S. Post Office and Courthouse building in downtown Dallas. The building was redeveloped by Todd Interests years ago into luxury apartments. It was developer Shawn Todd’s first downtown adaptive reuse. The landmark purchase is the company’s second-largest acquisition to date, just behind the historic Rockefeller building in Cleveland, Ohio.

Uptown Dallas’ landmark Crescent complex is adding to its business roster with several new leases.
The office deals come just a month after the huge mixed-use property north of downtown sold for almost $700 million. New owner Crescent Real Estate of Fort Worth continued to negotiate leases while working on the purchase.
Corpus Christi-based Susser Bank Holdings has leased 4,697 square feet in The Crescent. Bill McClung of Cushman & Wakefield negotiated the lease.
