Another 184 British Columbians died from toxic drugs in June, according to data released Wednesday by the B.C. Coroners Service, bringing the death toll in the first six months of the year to 1,200.

'We come together on this tragic anniversary date, imploring our premier, our minister of health, and our minister of mental health and addictions to immediately respond to the escalating deaths due to drug poisoning,' said one advocate.
