Daily Trust - ICAN inducts 1,233 chartered accountants

Adewuyi said globally, there are situations that interestingly create threats and opportunities.
She said with the induction, the new members have become part of the over three million accountants globally under the umbrella of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
“You are also affiliated with the Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW), through your membership of ICAN,” she added.
CAW is a global network of over 750,000 Chartered Accountants in over 180 countries.
The Special Guest of Honour and Past President of ICAN, Chidi Ajaegbu, said: “The certification process prepares you for the challenge you will face in the field.
“You must become an entrepreneur if you want a comfortable life and you have the right foundation,” he told the inductees. ....
