Meantime, one professor attempted to resign after outrage over an e-mail he sent to his students telling them to show up to take an exam yesterday despite the threats that came the night before. dale brigham wrote if you give in to bullies, they win. our nbc station in columbia reports the university has rejected his resignation. now, the protests have sparked action at a number of big colleges across the nation with rallies planned at three separate schools just today. students walked out at ithaca college yesterday and earlier this week at yale. more than 1,000 people rallied on campus demanding the school become more inclusive. nbc s craig melvin is here with that part of the story. and craig, i don t know if it s a coincidence or it s timing, but nevertheless, if you look on social media, a lot of these students are voicing their frustration, and it goes beyond these three schools we just listed. at least three schools. you mentioned those three. we know of several other school ....
