Emirates News Agency - BEEAH Recycling to launch UAE's first EV battery recycling facility

SHARJAH, 19th January, 2023 (WAM) BEEAH Recycling has signed an agreement with the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI) and the American University of Sharjah (AUS) to collaborate on establishing the nation's first recycling plant for end-of-life batteries from electric vehicles.

The agreement was signed during the 2023 World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure stand.

Emirates News Agency - BEEAH Group opens new recycling facility to produce alternative green fuel from waste

SHARJAH, 31st August, 2022 (WAM) BEEAH Recycling, a waste processing and material recovery business under BEEAH Group, has added a new Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) facility to its state-of-the-art, integrated waste management complex in Al Sajaa, Sharjah.
The SRF facility will transform commercial residue waste into a high-quality alternative green fuel in cement factories, where the fuel will be injected into the kilns during production.
The facility is among ten other recycling facilities managed and operated by BEEAH Recycling that have so far contributed. ....
