Here s the good news. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention expects the number of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths to drop dramatically by the end of July as Americans get vaccinated and as warmer weather slows the virus and moves more activities outdoors where transmission rates are lower. The drop is expected even as states ease COVID restrictions. In Pennsylvania, the Wolf administration will eliminate all temporary capacity limits on businesses May 31. That means, come Memorial Day, restaurants, stores and other businesses can open at 100% capacity. Crowd-size limits will also be lifted on both indoor and outdoor gatherings.
