Hence, the people of the country can heave a sigh of relief over Monday’s announcement by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa that he intends to contest and win the next Presidential Election. However, these two multinational bodies are very enthusiastic in their pursuit to defend justice when dealing with smaller countries, especially sovereign nations that refuse to bow down to their unreasonable diktats.
