Moore for a new franchise bringing characters from its theme parks and movies to life. Moore, 56, best known for creating the iconic Syfy remake of Battlestar Galactica, has come aboard to develop a franchise set within Disney s Magic Kingdom, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The first project in this franchise is The Society of Explorers and Adventurers, which is set in a world where all of the characters and lands showcased in Disney theme parks actually exists in a separate reality.
