Sarah M. Jensen 1945 – 2021 BATH – Sarah M. Jensen, 75, died of a short, unexpected illness on Monday, March 8, 2021 at her home in Bath. She was born in Boothbay Harbor on April 24, 1945, a daughter of Raymond B. and Mary E. (Dodge) Libby. Sarah graduated from Brunswick High School and was employed at Bowdoin College, where she took classes and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2001. She married Thomas Jensen in 1986. After her retirement from Bowdoin College, she and her husband were Real Estate agents at RE/Max Riverside in Topsham, later owning and operating Bay Ledge Real Estate in Damariscotta. In 2012 they retired to Cuenca, Ecuador, returning to Maine in 2016. Sarah enjoyed gardening, home decorating, reading and antique collecting. She is survived by her husband Thomas; one son, Dr. Alan Iverson and ....

Angel J. Fisette 1967 – 2021 WINDSOR – Angel J. Fisette 53, passed away peacefully Thursday March 4, 2021 with loved ones by his side following complications from a stroke. Angel started his life’s journey on the island of Guam in 1967 before moving to the States in 1969. As the oldest sibling in a navy family Angel would spend most of his adolescence growing up in Topsham. Angel enjoyed hunting and camping with his family and attended local schools where he discovered his love for football. After high school Angel found his career at BIW where he would hold a multitude of positions over the next 34 years including welding, and fabricating ships for the nation’s military. Beloved by many, Steve Mehrl of Wiscasset passed away at home on March 1, 2021 after a long battle with mesothelioma.
Named after his father, but better known as just Steve, he was the youngest child born to Stefan and Ruby Mehrl. Born in the summer of 1944, Steve grew up with two older siblings: Martin and Caroline. His mother was a homemaker for her three children, while his father held various occupations to support his family. He would reminisce fondly of his childhood helping his grandmother on her flower farm and with her roadside stand. This experience helped Steve develop a lifelong love of gardening, which he shared later in life with his beloved wife, Joy. He also developed a great sense of community while he worked at other family farms and auto garages. ....

Edith Ann Pickering Cronk, 82, of Gardiner Road, Wiscasset died Feb. 3, 2021 at Sussman House in Rockport.
She was born in Castine on Jan. 4, 1939, a daughter of Lester and Ruby (Perkins) Pickering.
She married Oscar Cronk Jr. on Sept. 3, 1960 and soon after they owned and operated Cronk’s Outdoor Supplies in Wiscasset. They made their life about the great outdoors; fishing, hunting, and trapping. Edith ran a trap line with Oscar in their early years of starting their store.
She was a member of Maine Trappers Association. Edith enjoyed having the trapper’s association down to Wiscasset where they had a social event at the Lobster Shed that she owned and loved to cook and feed lots of friends and family. Edith was a member of the Central Coastal Chapter of the MTA, also taking a course in “A gun in the house program” of safe responsible use of firearms and judicious use of firearms in the state of Maine. ....

Gary Lewis of Gardiner passed away Jan. 9, 2021 at Glenridge Rehab Center in Augusta, Maine after a long illness of dementia.
Gary was born in Wiscasset, the son of Dorothy and John Lewis, now both deceased. He graduated from Wiscasset High School and attended University of Maine and Central Maine Institute. He retired from Bath Iron Works after many years as a contract manager.
Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, all sports (especially the Red Sox and the Patriots), golfing and bowling. He enjoyed spending winters for many years at Country Aire Village in Zephyrhills, Florida. One of his favorite things to do was having coffee with his buddies at Fairground Cafe in Topsham. He loved and enjoyed his pet dogs. ....
