Programme honours beauty of Ao dai 17:06 | 03/05/2021 An Ao dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) performance event named âAo Dai Cua Chung Taâ (Our Ao dai) has been held in Hanoi recently, aiming at honouring and promoting the traditional costume of Vietnam. The area in front of Khue Van Cac (the pavilion of the constellation of literature) in the Temple of Literature in Hanoi becomes the âstageâ for 15 designers to introduce more than 600 Ao dai designs. Among them are such renowned designers as Minh Hanh, Ngoc Han, Lan Huong, Chu La, and Trinh Bich Thuy. Members of the organising board of the Lam Dong (VNA) – The first-ever Miss Earth Vietnam was launched during a press conference held in Lac Duong district of the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on April 28. The contest’s online preliminary will start from May, while an in-person one in Hanoi and HCM City from August. The semifinal is scheduled for November and the finale a month later.
