Potter County Commissioners approve purchase of new fire trucks


Officials with the Potter County Commissioners’ Court approved the purchase of four fire trucks for the county during Monday’s regular meeting. 
First, the court approved the purchase of three Rosenbauer Brush Fighter Fire Trucks from Daco Fire Equipment for $940,549, replacing three of the county’s most used rescue trucks with these new vehicles, Richard Lake, the Potter County Fire Chief, said during the meeting. 
“These trucks are going to be bigger, carry a little more water and bring more stability, basically,” he said. “We are trying to make them last longer with these. We also went back and did a little redesign on them where they have traffic advisory lights and stuff on them.”  ....
