No fewer than three major bridges linking Adamawa and Borno states, which were destroyed by Boko Haram in 2014 have been rebuilt by the North-East Development Commission (NEDC). The construction of the bridges signals significant restoration of peace and normalcy along Mubi-Bama road, which had not seen vehicular activities since Boko Haram occupied the area in 2014.
