Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign's new collaborative album, Vultures 1, was distributed to the major streaming services last weekend by a company called FUGA who now say they declined to work with the duo. "Late last year, FUGA was presented with the opportunity to release Vultures 1," a rep told Billboard. "Exercising our judgment in the ordinary course of business, we declined to do so." However, "on Friday, February 9, 2024, a long-standing FUGA client delivered the album Vultures 1 through the platform's automated processes, violating our service agreement. Therefore, FUGA is actively working with its DSP partners and the client to remove Vultures 1 from our systems." But by the end of the day, the album found a new distributor, Label Engine, founded in 2022. ....
Newly-released audio from the NFL reveals what Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift said to each other when she joined him on the field after the Kansas Super Bowl win. The Black Keys has released a second track from its upcoming album Ohio Players. The song is a cover of Memphis soul legend William Bell's "I Forgot to Be Your Lover," the only non-original track on the 14-song set. The group's Dan Auerbach says he and Keys mate Patrick Carney decided to take it on during sessions at the vintage Valentine Studios in Los Angeles: "We were in there doing some recording and Pat suggested it. I'm sure, like, being in that space, y'know, had a lot to do with that decision, but it's always been one of our favorite songs and we had Tommy there and we had Kelly Finnigan, who sings harmony and plays the Hammond. Drake's tour landed in St. Louis on Tuesday night, and while on stage, he noticed a fan holding a sign that asked for his help. "You got a sign out that says, ‘Please help me with my surgery.' I don't know what kind of surgery you need, sir. I really don't, but I'ma let you know: From me to you, St. Louis love, we gonna take care of whatever the surgery is." But Drake had special condition for his generous offer: the fan has to come back and see him the next time he performs in St. Louis.
