good morning from the studio 57 newsroom at cbs news headquarters here in new york. good to be with you. i m anne-marie green. well, we begin with new developments overnight concerning a drone shoot-down that could raise tensions between the u.s. and iran. iran s revolutionary guard says they shot down a u.s. drone over their airspace. the u.s. says it was in international airspace. the drone was shot down this morning. they say it happened over the strait of hormuz. they struck it down with an air-to-surface missile. the white house is closely monitored the situation. the drone incident comes after last week s attack on two oil tankers in the gulf of oman, a major transit route for global oil supplies. iran denies those accusations, and this weekend washington announced it was sending another 1,000 u.s. troops to the middle east. they say the move was in response to what was described as hostile iranian forces. now back at home, more than 52 million americans are in the
