CLEVELAND, Ohio Jury selection begins Tuesday in the trial where the brother of U.S. Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles is charged with multiple counts of murder in a shooting at a 2018 New Year’s Eve party in Cleveland that killed three.
Tevin Biles-Thomas, a 26-year-old U.S. Army soldier who lives in Georgia, pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, voluntary manslaughter, felonious assault and perjury. He faces life in prison a jury convicts him of the most serious charge. ....

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Sunday was the one year anniversary of the death of Tamia Chappman, 13.
The teenager died after being struck by a vehicle involved in a police chase while walking in the area of Lakefront and Euclid Avenues in East Cleveland.
Tamia Chappman was struck and killed by a car during a police chase in Dec. 2019.
Cleveland police said they were in pursuit of a stolen car, when the driver lost control and crashed into Chappman. ....
