Meanwhile, two showcases are scheduled for the talent show on March 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. with registration available at saskatoonpride.ca/g-factor.

In the age of COVID-19, the words quarantine and self-isolation have become part of our daily vocabulary typically with negative connotations.
But Curtis Peeteetuce is reclaiming the word quarantine in a positive way.
Peeteetuce said he decided to do an 14-day quarantine of his own in the form of an artist residency at the Wanuskewin Heritage Park, just outside of Saskatoon, as one of many projects he undertook to keep sane during the pandemic.

With temperatures expected to rise over the weekend, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy some outdoor fun. Or, if you’d rather stay in, there’s an opportunity to enjoy that to. Here are five activities happening in or around Saskatoon this weekend.

The Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink at Nutrien Plaza located in Kiwanis Park next to The Delta Bessborough hotel is now open. Capacity is limited to 30 skaters on the ice at a time so people have to book one-hour slots in advance online through Eventbrite. It is free to sign up. Slots are available between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday. Skaters must wear masks and keep physically distanced from people not within their groups.
