桑普描述了他当时内心的挣扎与煎熬。究竟是该继续留在香港，还是在香港以外的地方发展？桑普陷入两难：“我做哪一个决定，都有另外一方面的人说这个不对。我是觉得说，既然我的身份和志向是希望做评论，那我觉得我在外面之后会比较安全。”
然而，令他伤感的是，他从此离开了自己熟悉的朋友圈，很多亲朋好友也各奔东西，尤其在疫情延烧下，大家不知何时才能重逢。香港留给他的都成 ....
