Coldwater, MI, USA / WTVB | 1590 AM · 95.5 FM | The Voice of Branch County Feb 15, 2021 5:10 AM COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater gymnastics team hosted their 11th annual Stick it for a Cure Cardinal gymnastics Invitational on Saturday which raised funds for the Cancer Center at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. Five different schools from around the state participated including Escanaba, Grand Ledge, Jackson, Parma Western, and Coldwater. Due to the covid-19 protocols, there were some changes to the way the event was conducted. The gymnasts decided to host an online auction, sell raffle tickets, and offer an online âtext to donateâ option as a way to solicit donations for the local Cancer Center. The annual tradition of the basket auction carried through online and the gymnasts raised nearly $1,000 from their baskets. The raffle ticket sales brought in more than $2,600, while some of the local businesses donated more than $2,400. With some of the ....
