Rosemary Glesener, director of the Bird Island Cultural Centre, will lead two youth art programs in January and February, with a goal to introduce students to art fundamentals.
For the last six years, the Cultural Centre in Bird Island has provided space for the arts and community organizations. It is the dream child of Bird Island residents and business people Rosemary and Mark Glesener.
Mark Glesener, president of Island Hub, presented the request Oct. 10, 2023, to the Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee during its tour at Ridgewater College in Willmar.
