A new Caribou Coffee Cabin, a 554-square-foot “drive thru-only concept with a seasonal outdoor patio,” is slated to open at 2190 Wheelock Drive NE on March 31, 2023.
Caribou Coffee fired up its new 627-square-foot Caribou Cabin location in Rochester on Tuesday at 1021 15th Ave. Southeast. That means it sits in the Cub Foods Plaza parking lot at 12th Street and 15th Avenue Southeast. This is Rochester’s 13th spot to grab a cup of Caribou Coffee. Following the Snappy Stop model, this one is drive-thru or walk-thru only.

Caribou Coffee Co. drive-thru in Southeast Rochester is percolating again.
In May 2020,
Cub Foods Plaza parking lot at 12th Street and 15th Avenue Southeast.
The idea was to clear the way for construction of a 627-square-foot Caribou Coffee shop in front of the Cub-anchored shopping center.
That project went quiet for the rest of 2020, but a new filing last week signals that it’s back on the front burner.
