Seattle hits 101 degrees, shattering record for hottest June day

SEATTLE - Sea-Tac Airport hit 101 degrees F Saturday afternoon, officially shattering the record for the hottest June day (the previous record was 96 degrees in June 2017) and the daily record June 26.

You can expect even more blistering heat the next two days. The all-time hottest temp at Sea-Tac is 103. We ll surely surpass that Sunday and Monday.
Right now, highs are forecast to be between 100-110 degrees in Western Washington Sunday. Some areas could nudge closer to 115-120 degrees on Monday.
