The Welshman was a product of the Crystal Palace Academy, with his development at the club beginning aged eight. He made his debut at the start of the 2011/12 season, though his breakthrough came in 2012/13. After recovering from an injury that kept him out for more than half his debut season, Williams went on to make 35 appearances in the 12/13 campaign. Abubakarr Jah smiles fondly as he remembers his two sons as youngsters. The doting dad would push little Ahmed and Abubakkar, known as Junior, on swings in their local park in East London, the boys squealing in delight. As a treat, Mr Jah and wife Hawa Deen would take the boys and their two sisters to Chessington World of Adventures to ride the roller coasters, see the exotic animals and enjoy ice cream. ‘Ahmed and Junior were both very friendly,’ says Mr Jah, 53. ‘They had different dreams.’ On the afternoon of Monday, April 26, 18-year-old Junior was murdered outside the Jahs’ modest family home ....
