i don t know if it was owned or leased by the person who let them in. anyone else being questioned at this time actively? no one else is in custody yet but we are working an angle on one other person that may have been assisting them. thank you so much. what you just heard is law enforcement speaking after they took the crumblys, jennifer and james crumbly into custody. if you missed the beginning of that they were found in a commercial building, not an abandoned building and according to law enforcement they were left in so they did not break into this building, they were led into the building. i want to bring back ted williams, former dc police detective and a fox news contributor. i know you can t some of that news conference.
crumblys and the unidentified third person but the third person if it can be shown that he knew that they were fugitives and the third person was in fact helping the crumblys in their escape from that person clearly can be charged with assisting fugitives here but that is going to be a part of the continuing investigation. we ve gotten a little under a minute and a half or so but i said to know where you see the case going from here. there have been charges filed, there s an investigation, much more investigating needs to be done but where do you see the case going from your? where it is going to go now is back to oakland county, and they will, i suspect tomorrow, be arraigned, the question is will they be let out on bail?
what do you take away from it? what i take away is there was some excellent police work and the investigation is continuing but it appears as though the crumblys, jennifer and james, were found in this commercial building. this is not an abandoned commercial building. it is one that is in use. it appears they may very well be a third person involved, it may be someone who knew the crumblys but the detroit police department data tip to surround the building, jennifer and james came out, they were not armed. it is my understanding they have been turned over to the oakland
any indication they were aided in getting into the building? yes. they were aided and we are looking at that portion of the investigation. amateur division has information sharing with the us marshals and will be share with the sheriff s department. there is likely to be charges but again we have two prosecutors involved in that part of it. they will be working over that information. someone let them in so they didn t break in. someone let them in. any idea what relationship they had with the crumblys, whoever let them in? we don t know. we are unpacking that information. we know who this person is. facing charges? absolutely. in the county -
building and police officers said the crumblys were, he called it, under duress and distress, obviously upset when they took him into custody to talk about how important it is, if you see something say something. absolutely. i was on earlier yesterday on television at fox and i was saying just that, the eyes and ears of the public, i believe was going to be beneficial in bringing these two to justice and after they were led to have drawn $4,000 out of their account, and commit telephones off so that their telephones would not being and give away their location but it is apparent that someone in the public or someone they may have known gave the detroit police a tip.
